Welcome to the
McCarter Elementary Library

Every class at McCarter Elementary comes to the library once per week to get a library lesson and check out books. Lesson topics range from parts of a book, alphabetical order, and fiction vs nonfiction to using an online encyclopedia, the Dewey Decimal System, and writing citations. All students receive a 25-minute lesson followed by a 15-minute check out.
